Before I went to my friend's, house I dropped off a bag of things for the students at the school I will be teaching at later this week. Then I lugged my suitcase around on a bike, which was hard work. I don't recommend taking a large bag to Japan. Today I went to a small house church and had bible study with some friends. Then we had curry for lunch. Then we went for a walk and went shopping. I rode a Japanese bike, which I found easier to ride than ones in Canada. Then I went on the train to meet my friend. Then we went to her house and I settled in. Then we went for dinner with her friend to the Hard Rock Cafe, where I had steak and mashed potatoes for dinner. Tonight I will sleep on a futon, which is a mattress-type blanket.
